Tonight the Republicans will reveal their platform to America and it will include the ideology of Todd Akin who was uninvited due his, and new VP nominee Paul Ryan’s, ideology on rape and abortion.

Pau Ryan supports the Akin platform. HR 3 was cosponsored by Congressman Paul Ryan, the Wisconsin Republican who was nominated as the Republican vice presidential nominee.
In a letter to RNC chair Priebus, Gov Scott Brown termed the platform language “a mistake.”

The same GOP convention that will herald the Romney-Ryan ticket, also endorses the Akin abortion policy. Many in the party, including Paul Ryan, believe the life of the unborn child, even if rape or incest has occurred, shall be protected.
The platform will also include “abstinence-only” and the official form of sex education.
“We renew our call for replacing “family planning” programs for teens with increased funding for abstinence education, which teaches abstinence until marriage as the responsible and expected standard of behavior.”
Todd Akin might not be in Tampa, but Paul Ryan will make sure Todd Akin’s agenda on rape and abortion lives on.
