Flaming hypocrite Republican lesbian Mary Cheney married her lover, Heather Poe, in LIBERAL, DC. Yes, THAT Mary Cheney, who ran the Vice Presidential operations for the 2004 Bush/Cheney re-election campaign, a campaign that trafficked in the worst types of gay-baiting and gay-bashing propaganda (remember the flyer that stated if Kerry were elected gay marriage would be legal and the bible would be illegal?) has now decided to take advantage of rights open to her only because of those activists who fought when she would not. How wonderfully hypocritical.
And Mary Matalin, the lying POS who claimed that John Kerry had “outed” Mary Cheney (even though she had spent years as a professional lesbian for Coors, working to break the anti-Coors boycott in gay bars) and then claimed John Edwards had also “outed” her – when it was Gwen Ifill, the moderator of the 2004 VP debate, who brought up the public knowledge the Mary Cheney is a lesbian – is issuing her congratulations. Well that proves that Matalin really has no scruples.
I wish Ms. Republican hypocrite Cheney and Ms. Poe absolutely no good wishes. I have no doubt they will live comfortably on the blood-soaked Cheney million$ and will continue to support a party that attacks their very existence. They have never wanted to be a part of the wider LGBT community, have never, as far as I know, worked to help those who aren’t rich and privileged and who struggle under the draconian amendments passed in 2004 (just look at the story of the couple who can’t change their last name). It’s just sickening to see this level of hubris.
