In Your Face Radio Joins Creative Commons

In Your Face Radio is now defining our contributors work by allowing others to share and distribute information used on our site through a Creative Commons license. Creative Commons is a nonprofit organization replacing outdated “copyright” laws with a digital method for sharing information. A Creative Commons license allows artists, authors, publishers and musicians the option of creating  flexible copyrights for their creative works, instead of the old method of copyrighted information. Share some .. share none. It’s now a choice.

Having less restrictions, under a Creative Commons license, allows us to share our work by creating our own limitations of use, or lack of. Of course this has no reflection of content quality. There’s plenty of copyrighted material these days that are terrible, to say the least. In the old days books rarely had errors. Now they are replete with errors. It’s time for more copyright  flexibility controlled solely by the designer of the work and not some corporate or government entity.

There’s nothing wrong with making money on your art,  there’s also nothing wrong with giving it away – it’s a choice and we are proud to display a Creative Commons license for everyone to share.
