Not 1 hour after confirming Paul Ryan as his VP running mate, Mitt Romney immediately distanced himself from Ryan’s failed budget. Once again Mitt Romney fence sits with both Republicans and Conservatives.
The Romney campaign sent out talking points on Saturday making the case that he was his own man on matters of Medicare and Social Security and that he wouldn’t be tied to a document he insisted he’d sign into law and once called “marvelous.”
Like Michael with brother Fredo Corleone, while Mitt Romney was embracing Ryan as his #2 man on his cheek, Romney had already stepped away from Ryan’s ugly, social darwinist garbage and sent out a memo that he will not side with Ryan’s plan.
A memo? That’s it? Not gonna work, Willard. You’re stuck with him now.
Ryan professes to be a “fiscal conservative” when his voting record is not fiscally conservative at all but one of supply side, voodoo economics. Every Ryan plan recommendshuge tax cuts for the rich, with no accountability and sit back and watch what happens. That NEVER worked, thus the Romney memo.
The MEMO by Mitt shows how much faith he has in his pick’s platform which makes Paul Ryan no better than fellow grifter Michelle Bachmann, and Willard Romney wants no part of that.
