Newt Gingrich Attempts To Make a Buck on Excessive Heat/Deaths on East Coast

July 3, 2012
By

Always the snorting opportunist pig seeking ways to make money off other people’s misery, despicable human Newt Gingrich sent a pair of MONEY LOADED (mind  fucking) tweets on the current heat situation in the mid-west and east coast.

“Friend and coauthor bill forstchen notes washington-baltimore blackout mild taste of what an emp (electromagnetic pulse) attack would do”

— Newt Gingrich (@newtgingrich) July 2, 2012

And, then the MONEY BOMB:

“Forstchen’s novel “one second after” is an amazingly vivid story of small town’s struggles after all electricity has been destroyed by emp”

— Newt Gingrich (@newtgingrich) July 2, 2012

Of course Newt himself doesn’t know jack shit about global warming. In a highly touted 2007 Global Warming debate between Newt and John Kerry, Newt got his dick handed handed to him live on TV. The beating was so bad, Newt caved half way through and agreed with Kerry that indeed there is such a thing as global warming. He went on to praise Kerry’s book ”This Moment on Earth: Today’s New Environmentalists and Their Vision for the Future,” several times during the debate.

Gingrich’s performance at the debate ranged from puzzling to outraged by several Conservative bloggers accusing him of betraying the GOP by caving to the environmental lobby.

I saw “one second after” on a list of end of the world sci-fi books so I borrowed it from the library since I like stories of this kind. Once I cracked the cover and saw the Neutered had written the foreword I became instantly skeptical. I decided to overlook Neut’s propaganda piece and read the story. I made it through about 4-5 pages and I couldn’t stand it anymore. So I returned the book to the library.

It was amazing. Within that 4-5 pages I could already tell that all characters in the book who came from an authoritarian background, like cops, former military, Christian leaders (not religious leaders) would be perfect human specimens of intelligence, bravery, courage, decency and all other things good. Meanwhile, all of the usual suspects that neocons dislike would be the bad guys. Plus, I could feel the usual neocon proselytizing that permeates EVEYTHING they say or write in their life. The book is crap. Obviously, so are the authors.
